The Harvard Housing Office initially began as a resource for married students find housing in the Cambridge, MA area. From 1946 to ca. 1950's, Hunneman and Company acted as agent for Harvard in matters relating to married student housing. Edward L. Francis, of Henneman, was a full-time real estate consultant for the Harvard Housing Office. Donald D. Hathaway was manager of the Housing Office.Today, the Harvard Housing Office, a part of Harvard University Campus Services, provides a variety of housing services to students, faculty, and employees of Harvard University and manages the application process for Harvard University Housing, a resource for graduate students to find housing in the area.
