Hathaway was manager of the Housing Office.Today, the Harvard Housing Office, a part of Harvard University Campus Services, provides a variety of housing services to students, faculty, and employees of Harvard University and manages the application process for Harvard University Housing, a resource for graduate students to find housing in the area.
