University of Oregon. School of Music and Dance
The University of Oregon's Music department was founded in 1886, and was designated as the School of Music in 1900. In 1991, the Department of Dance faculty merged with the school, and in 2005, the school changed its name to the School of Music and Dance. The school offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
