Dever, Delma Dale.
Delma Dale Dever (Democrat, Johnson County) was an unsuccessful candidate for the Iowa Secretary of State in 1962. At the time of her candidacy she had served as secretary of the Johnson County Democratic Central Committee and vice president of the Democratic Women's organization. She was active in local civic affairs and the election campaigns of other Democratic candidates in the 1962 election (E.B. Smith, unsuccessful candidate for U.S. senator, and Harold E. Hughes for governor).
