An indulged meeting for worship was established in 1787 at West Grove. In 1789, the meeting for worship was established by Western Quarterly Meeting. West Grove Preparative Meeting was established in 1790. Two branches were formed at the time of the separation in 1827. West Grove Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) was discontinued in 1946. The Hicksite branch became part of West Grove Monthly Meeting in 1919 and was probably discontinued circa 1949.
