Edward Henry Cosier was born in Woodbury, Connecticut in 1865. He spent over 40 years working for the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad, first as a fireman and later an engineer. In about 1899 he was involved in a train accident. Cosier died in Waterbury in 1930. His oldest son, Lionel, was born in Winsted, Connecticut, in 1891. He also spent over forty years working as an engineer for the NYNH&H Railroad . Lionel Cosier died in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1980.
