Waring, Antonio J.
Antonio Johnston Waring, Jr. (1915-1964) was a pediatrician; his avocation was Native American archaeology. Waring received his B.A. in 1938 and his M.D. in 1942, both from Yale University. He returned to Savannah, Georgia in 1947 and practiced medicine until 1962 when he retired to pursue his interests in archaeology.
