White, Andrew E. C.
Andrew E. Clarke White, a conscientious objector, was imprisoned at Wormwood Scrubs, Ayr, Barlinnie (Glasgow), and Duke Street (Glasgow) from Oct. 1916 to Mar. 1919. His wife, Sybil W. White (ne Hart) (1887-1985), was also an active pacifist and worked with the families of interned Germans during the War.
