Lake States Forestry Alliance
In 1993, the Alliance included representatives from industry, academia, and government concerned with forestry issues in Mich., Minn., Wis., and the USDA Forest Service. It provided workshops, technical papers, forums, and publications. The Alliance is now called the Great Lakes Forest Alliance. It now provides a forum to promote cooperative efforts, management and continued use of public and private forestry lands in Mich., Wis., Minn., and Ontario.
