Trigg, Stephen, 1742-1782.
Trigg County Kentucky was named for Colonel Stephen Trigg, a native of Virginia, who first came to Kentucky as a land commissioner in 1779. Trigg was mortally wounded at the Battle of Blue Licks, August 19, 1782.
