Charles M. Jenckes was a New York artist and designer active from the 1840s through the 1890s. Known as a "specialty" artist, he was commissioned by Ogden Goelet (1851-1897) in 1895 to make drawings of New York for the extra-illustrated 13th volume edition of John Wakefield Francis's Old New York.
