Albert James Hannan, C.M.G. Papal decoration pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, 1945, K.S.S.M.A. L.L.B. Q.C. was Acting Judge of the Supreme Court of South Australia 1954-1957 and Crown Solicitor and Solicitor for Railways S.A. 1927-1952. He was born in Port Pirie, July 27th 1887 and educated at Sacred Heart College, Semaphore and the University of Adelaide. He was a member of the Council of the University of Adelaide for 22 years.
