Moore, John Sir, 1915-
A former President of the Australian Conciliation and Arbitration Commission (1973-1985), Moore was Second Secretary with the Australian Mission to the United Nations in New York from 1946-1947, and practised law at the New South Wales Bar between 1947-1959. He served with the AIF during World War II, and was made an Honorary Captain in 1945.
