Delta Upsilon Fraternity. North Carolina State Chapter.

Hide Profile

[Alpha] Delta Upsilon, an international men's fraternity, was founded in 1834. The fraternity is committed to "building better men" through their four founding principles: friendship, character, culture, and justice. The North Carolina State University colony (chapter) of the fraternity was established in 1976, with the first class taking pledges in 1977. Through the 1980s, the fraternity stayed active on campus and participated in many activities, but was forced to disband in 1993, due to low membership. NCSU's Delta Upsilon colony was later reinstated, practicing a mission to: "strengthen Greek life at North Carolina State University by providing a vehicle for positive leadership, change, and growth," and remains active as of 2008.
