The University of Denver School of Nursing, Denver, Colo. was part of the university curriculum intermittently from 1930 to 1985. The University collaborated with area hospitals to provide academic and practical training for nurses. Shirley Curtis was director of the program in 1978 and accreditation was granted by the National League for Nursing in 1981. The school closed at the end of the 1984-1985 academic year due to financial constraints.
