Ripley, Daniel Campbell.

Daniel Campbell Ripley was born in 1850 and came to Pittsburgh when he was twenty-one. He operated a tableware plant until 1891, when his company was merged to form United States Glass Company. He was named president of the new company, a position he held until his retirement in 1909. He came out of retirement to start a new firm, Ripley and Company.
