Country musician. Born September 28, 1914. Died March 11, 1993. Career most active 1930s-1950s. Guitarist and singer. Worked with several notable bands, including Bill Boyd's Cowboy Ramblers, Roy Newman's band, and the Light Crust Doughboys. With his own band, Jim Boyd and His Men of the West, he recorded for RCA 1949-1951.
