Indochina Peace Campaign (Organization : U.S.)
Variant namesThe Indochina Peace Campaign was an independent, short-term project which conducted an educational effort in 1972 prior to the presidential re-election of Richard Nixon. Celebrity support came from Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden, singer Holly Near, and others. In 1975 the campaign ended with the cessation of the Vietnam War; it was reconstructed as Friends of Indochina and Campaign for a Democratic Foreign Policy. The Philadelphia section was known as the Philadelphia Area Indochina Peace Campaign.
