First Church (Newton, Mass.)
Variant namesOriginally Newton, Mass., settlers were part of First Church in Cambridge; by 1650 they became tired of the trip to Cambridge and in 1664 First Church (also known as First Parish) in Newton was gathered; the church was incorporated in 1895 and dissolved in 1973.
