Rev. Cecil (Steve) Osborne was ordained in Bristol Cathederal in 1958. After serving in Bristol, Brixton, St. Martin-in-the- Fields, St. Oswald's Bristol (as Vicar) and St. Thomas, Hanwell, London, he emigrated to Australia in 1957. In Australia he served at Grafton (1957-1960), Port Macquarie (1960-1965), and 1965 appointed Priest-in-Charge of the Provisional district of Hughes-Curtin-Garran in Canberra. In 1974 he was appointed to Bega and Archdeacon of the South Coast and Monaro. He celebrated 40 years in the ministry in 1978, before retiring the following year.
