Walpole, Robert Horace, Earl of Orford, 1854-1931

Robert Horace Walpole, b. 1854, was the son of Frederick Walpole, b. 1822, whose father was Horatio Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford. R. H. Walpole was a midshipman on these voyages.

Naval officer. Robert Horace Walpole, 1854-1931, was the son of Commander Frederick Walpole, 1822-1876, M.P. for North Norfolk, whose father was Horatio Walpole, 3rd Earl of Orford. R. H. Walpole was a midshipman on the HMS Blanche and HMS Pearl in the Pacific, 1872-1874 and later became the 5th Earl of Orford.
