First Presbyterian Church (Northville, Mich.)
Church organized as the First Presbyterian Church (Plymouth, Mich.) in 1829; Old School, 1838-1869. Changed location to Northville in 1889. Some members broke off to organize the New School Presbyterian Church (Northville, Mich.) in 1842. When this congregation dissolved around 1850, some members rejoined First Presbyterian Church while others organized a Congregational church in Salem and Lyon, Michigan, known variously as Summit Congregational Church and First Congregational Church.
