John, Duke of Burgundy, 1371-1419
Variant namesJohn, Duke of Burgundy was commonly known as John the Fearless. He was the son of Philip the Bold of Burgundy, and he seized power after his father's death. In 1418 he seized Paris but was murdered the following year by the unseated faction.
