George Weaver was one of four sons of John Weaver who was a native of York County, Pa. who settled in Brush Valley, Pa. in 1801 or 1802. George Weaver was among the original members of the St. Paul's German Reformed and Lutheran Church, Haines Township, Centre County, Pa.
