Disney, John, 1779-1857
Variant namesAntiquary who published a catalog of his collection, "Museum Disneianum," from 1846 to 1849. He gave the collection to Cambridge University, where he had founded the chair of archaeology and where he held an LLD. He was a fellow of the Royal Society.
