Taylor, Garner Willis, 1887-1965.
Taylor served as sports editor for the Des Moines Register and Tribune from 1914 until 1965. Before coming to Des Moines he held positions as sports editor and report for the Wichita Beacon and the Wichita Eagle; secretary of Wichita's Western League baseball club; secretary of the St. Joseph (Mo.) Drummers Baseball Club; sports editor for the St. Joseph gazette; press agent for Ralph A. Hankinson's Auto Polo Co.; and writer for the Boyce Publishing Company in Chicago.
