Terrell Croft Drinkwater was an airline executive. Born in Denver, Colorado in 1908, Drinkwater earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Colorado. From 1932 to 1942, he practiced aeronautical law in Denver, Colorado. Drinkwater was named a vice president of Continental Airlines in 1942, then became a vice president of American Airlines in 1944. From 1946 to 1970, Drinkwater served as president of Western Airlines. In this capacity, he was instrumental in transforming Western Airlines from a struggling regional carrier to a lucrative international airline. Terrell Croft Drinkwater passed away in 1985.
