Wyman Sim Gideon (b. 1906-d. June 12, 1996) served was the General Manager of the Lower Colorado River Authority. He also worked as an attorney for Powell, Wirtz, Rauhut, and Gideon. He was married to Olga Bredt Gideon (1910-2005). The Sim Gideon Power Plant, located in Bastrop County, Texas, is named for him. He was an associate of Lyndon Baines Johnson and other Texans.
