The Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers Conference was established for the purpose of carrying out public relations, including educational and legislative, and similar programs for the benefit of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Stablemen, and Helpers of America and continuing when the union changed its name to International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen, and Helpers of America in 1940.
