Spencer, Marian A. (Marian Alexander), 1921-

Marian A. Spencer, an African-American native of Gallipolis, Ohio, served as chairperson of the Community Steering Committee for Indigent Defense in Cincinnati before becoming president of the Cincinnati Branch of the NAACP in 1981. She was elected to Cincinnati City Council as a Charterite in 1983 and served for one term.
