The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War was an organization for daughters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters of honorably-discharged soldiers and sailors who served in the United States Army, Navy, or Marine Corps and Revenue Cutter Service during the Civil War, and those who died or were killed while serving in the armed services during the war. It was established in May 1885. The Helen M. Shaw Tent #15 was organized May 2, 1930 in St. Paul; it appears to have disbanded about 1957.
