Arthur Vernon Woodworth (1865-1950) attended Harvard University before enrolling at Cambridge Episcopal Divinity School. After graduating in 1891, he earned his PhD from the University of Freiberg, Germany in 1896. He worked at a Boston brokerage firm before joining the faculty at Harvard Business School in 1927 as a finance professor. He retired in 1935.
