Sutro and Company.
Silver milling company owned by Adolph Sutro. Sutro developed and owned a silver mill in Dayton, Nevada, in 1861. He developed, was the major stockholder of, and was general superintendent of the Sutro Tunnel in the Comstock Lode, Virginia City, Nev., which drained excess water from the mines of that area.
