Baer, Max, 1937-
Max Baer, Jr. , the son of former heavyweight boxing champion Max Baer, became famous for playing the character Jethro Bodine on "The Beverly Hillbillies." "Macon county line", a 1973 motion picture written and produced by Baer, was a product of American International Studios. Set in the Southern delta region, the movie starred Alan Vint, Cheryl Waters, Geoffrey Lewis, Joan Blackman, Jesse Vint, and Max Baer.
