Yerby-Lawson Family.
William E.W. Yerby (1864-1955) was mayor of Greensboro, and editor of the Greensboro Watchman (1886-1955). His son-in-law James L. Lawson (1897-1982) served in the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service, rising to the position of Associate Director of Extension.
