Founded in 1929, the Oregon Dietetic Association works to improve the nutritional status of Oregonians; to raise the standards in dietetic service; to protect the status of the profession; to foster cooperation and education between the members and workers in allied fields; and to strengthen the work of the profession in the state through affiliation with the American Dietetic Association.
