USS Abraham Lincoln Commissioning Committee.
A board of business and civic leaders from throughout Illinois who were appointed, by Governor James R. Thompson, to work with the Navy on plans for commissioning the Nimitz class aircraft carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln, which at that time was the nation's newest and largest warship.
