Pease, Marion O.

Marion Ochsner Pease was a professor of Education at College of the Pacific (Stockton, Calif.) from 1929 through 1963. After retirement she was one of the founding members of the Stockton Chapter of the Pan-Pacific Women's Association (1961) and later International Secretary of the Association (1977). Papers consist of letter from Saul D. Alinsky, member All-Chicago Committee for Packinghouse Workers (1946) thanks Mrs. Pease, member All-Chicago Committee for American Veterans, for that committee's support of meatpackers' strike. Letters from Edgar Snow and Owen Lattimore (1963) provide information regarding travel in Russia and Mongolia.
