Fairhurst, William Guy, 1832-1910.
Guy Fairhurst, born in Sussex County, England, was a miner in Gilpin County and in Magnolia, Boulder County. He moved to Colorado in 1859, and in 1866 married Louisa M. Simpson, whom he had met at a boarding house in Georgetown. They had at least four children: Albert Lyle Fairhurst, William Guy Fairhurst, Charles Standish Fairhurst and Harvey Ward Peace Fairhurst.
