Indianapolis Music Promoters.
Founded in 1919 as a branch of the National Association of Negro Musicians to encourage musical study and to foster musical talent in young people. Many club members directed musical groups, and the club gave regular musical performances. More recently, the group has sponsored workshops and clinics, and with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis sponsors the Music Stars of Tomorrow program.
