Buffalo (N.Y.). Ward, 3rd. Alderman.
Franklin Square cemetery was the first in Buffalo. The plot was obtained by land contract from the Holland Land Company. Burials were discontinued there in 1832; bodies were removed to Forest Lawn cemetery in 1851. The site became a city park, also called Franklin Square.
