Pacific Life Community
Began in 1975 or 1976 in Vancouver, B.C. and Seattle, Washington; later added a chapter in the San Francisco, Calif. area; an Atlantic Life Community was also established on the East Coast of the United States; used nonviolent methods for social change; worked against nuclear weapons, especially the Trident weapons system; disbanded in the mid-1980s.
