Benjamin and Jane Price were prominent Hicksite Quakers from Pennsylvania. Jane Price was born a Paxson, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Paxson. She married Benjamin Price in 1817. Benjamin had a brother Eli K. Price who ran a legal practice. Both Benjamin and Jane Price travelled in Quaker ministry.
