Kerschensteiner, Mark H., 1921- ,
Kerschensteiner (1921- ) enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve in 1942.
After graduation from the University of Wisconsin in 1943 he went to active duty. He was discharged from the service at the rank of captain, worked as advertising director of Hoard's Dairyman, a dairy industry magazine, and settled in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Kerschensteiner is the great grandson of former Wisconsin Governor William Dempster Hoard.
