Donaldson (1893-1980) was a life-long Mich. native. He was the director of institutional advertising and one-time member of the editorial staff of the Dearborn Independent. Donaldson began his career with the Ford Motor Co. in 1921. He was well known as a collector and lecturer of rare Bibles. Donaldson was also a founder and member of the Book Club of Detroit.
