Edwards family.
Cyrus Edwards was probably a brother of Ninian Edwards, governor of Illinois from 1826-1830. Matilda Edwards, presumably Cyrus Edwards' daughter, was a friend of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois. Isabella Reed Clay Weisinger was the widow of Sidney Clay and related to the Edwardses.
