Heimbach, Sylvia, 1911-
Sylvia Heimbach, poet and schoolteacher, was born in Brooklyn, October 13, 1911, and received her A.B. from Hunter College (1932), A.M. from Radcliffe (1933), and Ph.D from New York University (1958). She taught English in New York high schools, 1933-1971.
