Southern Forest Products Association (U.S.)
The Southern Forest Products Association is a nonprofit trade organization of southern pine lumber manufacturers from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, with headquarters in Kenner, La. It was founded as the Southern Pine Association in 1915, but changed its name to the Southern Forest Products Association in 1970 in response to changing needs of its members and the desire to project a broader image of its activities.
