Syverud, Clifford S., 1922-
Syverud (b. January 7, 1922) served with the 701st Bomb Squad, 8th Air Force during World War II. His plane was shot down and he was taken prisoner in May 1944. Syverud was honorably discharged in 1945 as a staff sergeant and settled in Madison, Wis.
