Elvira Dodge Drullard (1836-1929), California pioneer and school teacher settled in Waterloo area near Stockton (Calif.). She taught school there and married farmer Aylmer Francis Drullard (1861). After his death (1905) Elvira operated ranch with a son-in-law. Her diary describes overland trip from Illinois to Salt Lake City (1860). Collection also includes diary of David Dodge (1856), reminiscence of Fred Dodge (1929), reminiscence of Bernice Doan Drullard (ca. 1990), diary of Charles and Nellie Drullard (1911-1912) and a history of Madison School in Waterloo (Calif.) by Marie Drullard Doscher. Family research notes, photographs, sketches and information on Waterloo collected by Elna and Marvin Triplett are also included.
