Temple Houston Morrow, longtime president of Traders and General Insurance Company of Dallas, Texas, was the son of Nancy Elizabeth Houston Morrow and a grandson of Samuel and Margaret Lea Houston. He and his wife moved to Lubbock, Texas, in 1945 following his retirement. Samuel Houston is one of Texas’ most prominent historical figures. His efforts to free Texas from the Mexican government are remembered in the historic battles sites, which live on to this day in Texas history.
